Following their victory Al-Nassr are in second place in Saudi Pro League, one point behind leaders Al-Hilal, who have a game in hand as they host Al-Hazm away on Saturday.
Ronaldo’s brace continued his excellent season so far – he has now scored 15 goals in 13 league appearances.
Al-Nassr’s next game sees them play Persepolis on Monday in the AFC Champions League. They then return to league action with an away game against Al-Hilal which should be an entertaining encounter.
Former Liverpool winger Sadio Mane was an unused substitute for Al-Nassr against Al-Akhdoud after returning from international duty with Senegal.
Ronaldo’s first goal of the game was also of a high standard as he scored from a difficult angle
