So spare a thought for actress Kate Hudson whose mum Goldie Hawn and stepdad Kurt Russell regularly overshare when it comes to their bedroom antics.
βThey were very open when I was growing up and they still are to this day,β says Kate, 41.
βSometimes mum will share something with me and I am like, βMum, that is just [too much]β.
βI am, like, βI love it and I am here for you, but that is not where I was expecting this conversation to goβ.β
Goldie, 75, has been married to Kurt, 70, for 39 years β an impressive feat in anyoneβs life, let alone a pair of Hollywood legends.

Kate insists they are βclassy not crassβ β which is good.
Speaking to Conan OβBrien, the mum-of-three says: βMy parents never hid their issues. If they were having a fight, we knew it. We knew they were going through it and needed to talk stuff out.
βIt became a family discussion rather than a private talk. Everything was very open.
βMy parents are open, but they are not crass. They are classy open.β
Kate, who stars in new film Music alongside Sia, also insists she was a βworker beeβ as a kid.

She says: βPeople have this idea that I was this young party girl but I was super-straight. I did not try weed until I was like 19 or 20 years old.β
Now, the actress is living in LA and says she loves turning up at friendsβ houses spontaneously.
βI am the person who says βHiβ to everyone, but people donβt approach me as much,β she says.
βMaybe because I am the famous one. I walk past famous peopleβs homes and I could knock on the door, but I wonder, βDo they want to see me?ββ
Iβm sure most people would be up for Kate Hudson knocking on their doorβ¦
