A construction worker discovered a young puppy, perhaps two or three months old, that needed immediate treatment. The boy was exploring the construction site when the brave worker approached, looking for someone who could help him.The employee picked up the little boy and took him to the Chicago Animal Care and Control animal shelter for lunch. It was then agreed to take him to the doctor for a check-up by volunteers from the Chicago animal rescue organization One Tail At A Time.They performed a more thorough evaluation and tests necessary to determine what illness or accident had caused his injuries. The puppy was named “Parmesan Crisp” because of a terrible skin condition that caused his legs to expand and his skin to turn red.He appeared to be in poor condition, with open wounds on his skin, and was falling asleep. Parmesan Crisp is being treated for an autoimmune condition called juvenile cellulitis. The dog is being treated with the medication recommended by a veterinarian, a healthy diet and rest to regain strength.According to the rescue center’s co-founder, Heather Owen, “when you mix all of these components together, the problem should heal on its own and the skin should heal over time.”With proper care, doctor’s recommendations, and a lot of love and patience, the injured little pup will probably be able to make a full recovery and lead a normal life.The Parmesan Crisp is currently being fostered and, despite his persistent illness, the pup is showing signs of tenacity.Despite his tiny size, the little boy has experienced a lot in his short life, but now things are starting to look up for him. Parmesan Crisp’s origins are unknown, although it is possible that he was abandoned by a cruel human or that he was born a stray.The most important thing is that this puppy makes a full recovery and enjoys his life. Parmesan Crips currently has a second chance at life in his new home, where he will undoubtedly receive all the attention he needs.Due to the love and care of his adoptive mother, the young cub appears to be constantly developing, boding well for the future.
