Jennie (BlackPink) clone suddenly left the group right before their debut because…

BABYMONSTER will be released on November 27. However, close to the debut date, YG management company confirmed that the most famous member, Ahyeon, left the group.

On November 15,  News1  reported that YG Entertainment’s new girl group BABYMONSTER will debut with a 6-member lineup. Ahyeon – the most famous member – left the group for personal reasons.

According to News1  , Ahyeon was recently removed from the BABYMONSTER member list. Therefore, BABYMONSTER, which was scheduled to debut with 7 members, now has to change its lineup. Korean media commented that there is a possibility of Ahyeon joining BABYMONSTER in the future or working solo.

YG confirmed the above information and said: “We are very sorry that we cannot introduce Ahyeon as a member of BABYMONSTER. However, we had to make this decision for the health of the artist. We Try to support Ahyeon to fully recover and return to her best condition.”

BABYMONSTER encountered turbulence before its debut.

News1  commented that Ahyeon is famous to fans with the nickname “BlackPink Copy Jennie”. When participating in YG Entertainment’s survival show, Ahyeon was introduced as a central member, always full of confidence with perfect skills.

The female singer not only dances well but also has a perfect voice and explosive rap skills. YG’s former CEO Yang Hyun Suk gave a lot of praise to the female singer. “Ahyeon is a warrior with a lot of weapons. Every time I see her, I think, ‘It’s hard to have all those weapons,'” he said.

Therefore, Ahyeon is often compared to her senior group BlackPink and is expected to become a global star like Jennie. Therefore, the fact that Ahyeon left the group right before BABYMONSTER’s debut is causing a stir

Thus, BABYMONSTER will consist of 6 members. Among them, two members have Korean nationality, Haram and Rora, and two members have Thai nationality, Pharita and Chiquita. The remaining two members are Ruka and Asa from Japan.

BABYMONSTER is YG’s first girl group after 7 years since BlackPink debuted and is expected to officially operate from November 27. Baby Monster’s official YouTube channel had more than 3.15 million subscribers even before its debut, and the cumulative views exceeded 450 million.

The news of Ahyeon leaving the group came as a surprise.

According to YG’s introduction, the group will pursue a strong hip hop style. The group’s debut MV was completed after 5 days of filming. YG demonstrates a huge investment in this group. They affirmed that they put all the experience accumulated over many years of work into producing their debut MV for BABYMONSTER.

The debut of this group is highly anticipated, especially at a time when BlackPink’s contract renewal issue has not been confirmed by YG. Many people believe that the fact that YG quickly released BABYMONSTER even after “trump card” Ahyeon left, proves that BlackPink did not renew the contract with this company.

Therefore, the company must quickly launch a new girl group to fill the gap left by BlackPink.
