The main reason why Goten was able to become a Super Saiyan so quickly was because he possessed S-Cells, microscopic cells located in the bodies of Saiyans. To have a large number of S cells, the best way is to have a “holy soul”, a standard extremely suitable for a person born and cared for in “peace” like Goten.

Except for the rather paradoxical case of Goten, most Saiyans are extremely aggressive, and perhaps that is why there have been no Super Saiyans for a long time. However, it is not simply necessary to have a good soul, but also to have high fighting ability. They must really make an effort to become a Super Saiyan. This is quite accurate if we put it in the case of previous characters such as Goku and Vegeta.

However, for many readers, author Akira Toriyama’s use of the S-Cell reason is still not very reasonable. Obviously, Gohan also inherited S-cells and is Goku’s first child, but why did it still take him quite a while to become a Super Saiyan?

Another case can be made that it is the genetic genes of the later generations of hybrid Saiyans that make these hybrids stronger. In addition to Gohan, Goten or Trunks, we can mention the case of little girl  Pan. Ever since she was a child, this girl has possessed the ability to fly, something Goku clearly had to spend quite a bit of time adventuring and training to achieve. Neither Goten, Trunks nor Pan trained at high intensity, but their father and grandfather, however, still possessed quite strong abilities.
