Gal Gadot Braves London’s Cold Weather to Film Wonder Woman 1984 Sequel Scenes

It was a letdown for enthusiasts when they found out that the Wonder Woman sequel’s premiere date got rescheduled from November 1, 2019 to June 5, 2020. However, admirers of Gal Gadot will be thrilled to know that she was recently spotted filming scenes for the movie’s follow-up, Wonder Woman 1984, in central London last weekend. Despite the chilly autumn weather, the 33-year-old heroine wore a comfortable navy coat and beige scarf to keep her cozy while on set.

On Saturday, Gal Gadot was spotted filming scenes for the upcoming Wonder Woman sequel in London, and the actress looked stunning despite the chilly weather. She opted for a neutral ensemble, but added a pop of color with a bright red circular handbag slung over her shoulder. Her dark locks were styled in perfect ringlets, and her make-up was flawlessly applied. Three crew members were seen fussing over Gal between takes, ensuring that she looked her best on camera. While she wasn’t sporting Wonder Woman’s iconic costume yet, there’s no doubt that Gal will look amazing when she does!4

Gal Gadot, who is set to reprise her role as Wonder Woman, was recently spotted without her iconic superhero costume. She will be facing off against the villainess Cheetah in the upcoming action-packed sequel which will be shot in London, Washington D.C., and the Canary Islands. Despite the news of the movie’s delay, fans are excited to see Gal back in action on the film set. The release date for the sequel has been moved from November 1, 2019 to June 5, 2020, according to a tweet from the star herself.

In a photo, three crew members were captured tending to the actress and touching up her makeup during the filming of a movie scene. Gal Gadot announced in a tweet that due to the changing landscape, the Wonder Woman sequel would be released on June 5, 2020, which is almost exactly three years after the first film premiered. The original movie earned a lot of money during its opening weekend in June last year. Wonder Woman grossed $103.2 million and went on to earn $412.5 million domestically (the third highest total of 2017) and $821.8 million worldwide (the tenth highest total of 2017), so it is no surprise that Gadot referred to June as the film’s “rightful home.”

The highly-anticipated sequel to Wonder Woman will see the return of Gal Gadot as the iconic superhero, as well as Chris Pine as Steve Trevor and Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta. Joining the cast are Kristen Wiig as Barbara Minerva/Cheetah and Pedro Pascal in an undisclosed role. Director Patty Jenkins is back at the helm, working from a screenplay she co-wrote with Geoff Johns and Dave Callaham. The film, titled Wonder Woman 1984, is currently in production.

Gal Gadot, the star of Wonder Woman 1984, announced on Twitter Monday morning that the movie has a new release date of June 5, 2020. In an earlier interview, Gadot shared that her six-year-old daughter, Alma, is already interested in taking over her acting roles when she gets older. Despite not having watched the movie yet, Alma is proud of her mother’s role and has already asked if she can take over someday. However, Gadot is trying to protect her daughter’s childhood and keep things normal for her.

Gal Gadot returns to the big screen as Wonder Woman in the highly anticipated sequel. In this fast-paced tale, our superhero must confront her arch-nemesis, Cheetah, in a fierce battle of good vs. evil. Get ready for an action-packed adventure that will leave you on the edge of your seat!
