But despite being on a hefty wage packet, Mbappe’s fashion sense is surprisingly down to earth. For the most part he seems to shun the expensive designer labels, favouring instead the sort of sportswear you can pick up on the high street.
A few weeks before, the 19-year-old was photographed arriving at the team’s training ground, waving with a friendly smile to the paparazzi.
