Creed es una película de drama deportivo estadounidense de 2015 dirigida por Ryan Coogler a partir de un guión de Coogler, Aaron Covington y contribuciones de Sylvester Stallone. Es la secuela de Rocky Balboa (2006), la séptima entrega y spin-off de la franquicia Rocky, y está protagonizada por Michael B. Jordan, Stallone, Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Tony Bellew y Graham McTavish. En la película, el boxeador aficionado Adonis Creed (Jordan) es entrenado y asesorado por Rocky Balboa (Stallone), el antiguo rival del padre de Adonis, Apollo Creed.
Aunque Rocky Balboa fue considerado el final de la franquicia, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer contrató a Coogler en 2013 para desarrollar un spin-off de Rocky. El guión original de Coogler y Covington se completó en abril de 2014, y también se confirmó la participación de Jordan y Stallone. El elenco restante fue contratado en enero de 2015, después de lo cual comenzó la fotografía principal, que duró hasta abril, con lugares de rodaje que incluyen Liverpool, Filadelfia y Gainesville.
Creed se estrenó el 19 de noviembre de 2015 en el Regency Village Theatre de Los Ángeles y se estrenó en cines en los Estados Unidos el 25 de noviembre, coincidiendo con el 40 aniversario de la fecha de la escena inicial de la primera película. La película fue elogiada por la dirección, el guión y las actuaciones de Coogler. La película también fue un éxito comercial, recaudando 173 millones de dólares en todo el mundo. Entre sus galardones, fue seleccionada por el National Board of Review como una de las diez mejores películas de 2015, mientras que Stallone ganó el premio del National Board of Review al mejor actor de reparto, el premio Critics’ Choice al mejor actor de reparto y el premio Globo de Oro. al Mejor Actor de Reparto en una Película y fue nominado al Premio de la Academia al Mejor Actor de Reparto. La secuela, Creed II, se estrenó en 2018.
