Alexis Isn’t The Only Alcoholic In Town Who Is Dancing With Danger

General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is worried sick that her impending hearing to seek the reinstatement of her law license could end in tragedy.

She hasn’t forgotten the tears in Molly Lansing Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) eyes when she told her daughter about her plans to appeal the original decision in his case.

Alexis wants to be a lawyer again more than anything, but she knows that if her appeal is squashed, her heart will be broken — and she’s not dealt with that in terribly healthy ways in the past.

Rumor has it she may not be the only broken spirit living in the bottom of a bottle in Port Charles soon. Which other character might we see plummet into a depression soon and give in to their addiction?

General Hospital Spoilers — Alexis Davis’ History Intertwines with Another

Alexis and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) became good friends via their joint Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. They’ve held each other accountable over the years as informal sponsors to one another.

Despite that, Alexis has seen many more trips off the wagon than Finn ever has. But word on the street is that it’s time for that dynamic to change.

As Alexis regains her power and self-esteem as a licensed attorney again, Finn may start to feel like his own life is falling apart as he watches his father’s wither away.

GH Spoilers – Tease Finn Finnegan Won’t Handle His Father’s Spiral Well

Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) is dying. As a doctor, Finn knows there is next to nothing he can do to stop what lies ahead. Moreover, it’s coming faster than anyone expected.

Having to buffer many of his father’s own challenging feelings about his fate — and his continual neurological decline — Finn hasn’t had much time to process how he really feels about all of this.

It was easier to manage when he knew for certain that things were good between him and his dad, but now he’s not so sure.

Gregory’s comment about his ex-wife’s affair with Finn really stung — and it left Finn reeling to the point that he needed to lean on Alexis and hop into a meeting.

Will Alexis be enough to keep him from going off the deep end if he loses his dad without any resolution for their wounded relationship?

General Hospital Spoilers — Bygones Be Gone

In a perfect world, Finn would get to make peace with his dad over what he did to him so long ago — and long before his dad is so far gone that he can’t communicate clearly with him anymore.

Knowing the day that Gregory can’t speak anymore could be just around the corner only adds to the stress Finn feels that they may never be able to clear the air.

Furthermore, he recognizes there may be no way to rush his father into a forgive and forget mental space before he loses his facilities.

If Finn has to say goodbye to his dad without knowing how he really feels, it’s likely he will make assumptions about those feelings — and they won’t be good. This could become the catalyst for Finn finally falling off the wagon and back into addiction.

Do you see tragedy ahead for him in the wake of his father’s death? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
