When Avery’s Life Is In Danger, Will Ava Come Clean About Sonny’s Medical Mixup?

General Hospital spoilers claim Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola) has been delighted to live under one roof with both her mother and father.

Seeing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) get along so swimmingly has helped the three of them blend their way into being a family — something they’ve never really experienced with each other before.

Sonny has welcomed Ava with open arms, and she’s taken advantage of that situation by trying to push Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) completely out of the picture and inserting herself in her place.

But Ava may be blind to the real concerns everyone else has about how things turn out when Sonny isn’t properly medicated — a truth Ava stumbled upon but hasn’t shared. So when he starts behaving rather recklessly and his actions put their daughter in danger, will Ava stand by him, or protect her daughter and throw Sonny to the wolves?

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Starts to Spiral

Right now, Sonny is feeling the walls closing in around him and perceives everyone he loves as turning their backs on him. As that continues to occur, Sonny may not end up leaning on the woman he’s currently shacked up with.

Ava is under the impression that she and Sonny are growing closer by the minute, but it seems that Sonny is still focused on making other inroads that could help him.

Trying to secure his position with the who’s who of Port Charles won’t be easy as Deputy Mayor Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) turns her cheek to his business proposal as easily as Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) turned down his art donation to the city.

Sonny won’t be able to handle losing many more “friends” before he starts to spiral out of control, and Ava could use that as an opportunity to jump ship — and take Avery with her.

GH Spoilers Say Avery May Not Be the Priority

That being said, this wouldn’t be the first time that Ava didn’t put her daughter first.

She made that mistake over and over again with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin), and did so enough with Avery that she made peace with Sonny having full custody before his year-long hiatus in Nixon Falls.

That changed everything — and when he came back, they were on more equal footing. Ava has strived to keep that.

Now, although he’s opened his home to her, she feels his arms closing up. What’s more important to Ava though — Avery, or access to Sonny and his bed?

General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Pushes for That Blood Test

Ava already knows that Sonny isn’t as medicated as he believes he is. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) hit the nail on the head by inquiring about whether he went off his meds.

While Ava hasn’t inserted herself to insinuate that he is or is not taking his medication, she could tee him up to use this against him.

If she encourages Sonny to get that blood test, which will prove he’s not really fully medicated.

Will she use that against him to head back to court and rip Avery from her father’s life? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
