Cardi B made her red carpet debut on Monday, May 6, at the Met Gala wearing an exquisite black tulle gown with a train so long it nearly filled the Met steps.

During her interview on the red carpet, Cardi B revealed that the gown was designed by Sensen Lii, the founder of Windowsen, a Chinese label. However, she was unable to pronounce the brand’s name or the nationality of the designer.

Cardi B is renowned for going all out for the Met Gala, and her outfit this year was no exception—the Bronx native didn’t choose to wear anything ordinary. Following the evening, Cardi B disclosed that she was thinking of getting a second outfit for the 2024 Met Gala. She posted a video of a dress that was aquamarine in color and nearly identical to the black outfit she wore to the red carpet on X, which was formerly Twitter.
