During the India Today Show, Priyanka recalled her daughter’s premature delivery story. Priyanka recalled she was numb when she heard about her daughter’s premature delivery and didn’t know what to do. However, her husband, Nick, asked her to get into the car, and they drove to the hospital. Priyanka added that from the day her daughter was born, they made sure one of them stayed with her

Priyanka further revealed that the phase was difficult, and she wasn’t even in a situation to feel scared as her daughter was scared and weak. She added that she wasn’t able to sleep for days as her daughter was without a monitor, and she would put her ears on her chest to see if she was okay. Talking about the same, Priyanka said:

“You know your child is alive, because you can see their heartbeat (on the monitor). I couldn’t sleep for days, because now suddenly she was home without a monitor. I used to put my ear on her chest. I would wake up every couple of minutes just to see if she was OK. For weeks, this went on.”
