The two heavyweights are preparing for an uncontested clash next month.
May is shaping up to be a huge month for boxing. Even in a month when Canelo Alvarez and Naoya Inoue are scheduled to fight for titles, nothing is larger or more essential than Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk for heavyweight dominance.
Following a sparring incident that saw Fury suffer a cut above his eye and a subsequent postponement, the fight is ready to rock and roll on May 18 in Saudi Arabia.
Usyk’s impressive training video
Usyk hasn’t fought since August, but he’s looking ready to go. In a recent training video he posted, Usyk shows off the smooth nature of his craft that has turned him unstoppable.
Usyk also did a lot of his workout in the video while keeping his eyes locked on the camera in a scary way. While keeping the punching ball in his peripheral vision, he didn’t miss a punch.
Fans were also impressed by Usyk’s physique. Even with the fight still over a month away, Usyk “looks ready to fight right now“. Fury will have to be at the very top of his game to take down Usyk.
