LeBron Is ‘Very Concerned’ About Squatters Taking Residence In His Neighborhood

Squatting is a hot topic these days, and while most people probably think of folks squatting in dilapidated flophouses, that’s not the case.

In fact, Lebron James has reportedly had enough of squatters making their way into the same neighborhood as his, which is also inhabited by Hollywood heavy hitters including Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez,

According to Daily Mail, LeBron bought a $36.8 million Beverly Hills mansion in 2022, then did what anyone would do after making such a big real estate purchase: he tore it down to build his dream house.

Unfortunately, for LeBron — but fortunately for lovers of delicious, delicious irony — squatters moved into a $5 million home in his neighborhood back in October.

A report from Curbed says that the NBA’s all-time leading scorer “was very concerned” about people essentially stealing houses in his neighborhood.

I mean… I think that’s a fair reaction.

Could People Squatting In His Neighborhood Be A Political Turning Point For LeBron?

Of course, no one wants to see squatters succeed. It’s really one of the scummiest things you can do.

However, if there’s one good thing to be taken from this rash of squatting nonsense, it is that it puts pressure on politicians to take a look at these laws and do something about it, especially for those who live in a more moderate to conservative part of the country, which LeBron — a champion of many a progressive issue — does not.

You reap what you sow.

There’s no denying that LeBron has one of the biggest voices and platforms in the United States and probably the world. Unfortunately, to this point, he hasn’t used it to criticize China but has used it to do his fair share of race hustling.

However, nothing will put things in perspective for you to have a real, honest-to-goodness problem two doors down from you.

LeBron is getting a first-hand look at how the real world can operate if you try to live in a progressive, hugs-and-kisses fantasy land, and it ain’t pretty.
