They cemented their status as Hollywood’s golden couple when they tied the knot back in 2014.

But it’s all over for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are set to divorce.

The pair became Mr and Mrs in an intimate, family-focused wedding at their estate in the south of France just two years ago.

Their intimate ceremony was centred around their children Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight.

Just 22 guests saw Brad and Ange say ‘I do’, with the Fight Club star borrowing a tie from one of his sons on his big day, as he had forgotten to pack his own.

The stars – who met on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith while Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston – later revealed how their brood also helped to write their vows.

A source told HELLO! magazine at the time: “All the children helped to write the vows and asked their parents to make promises to each other.”

Brad and Angelina said in a statement: “It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter. It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family.”

Maddox and Pax looked smart in black suits and proudly walked their mother down the aisle while Zahara, wearing a dress designed by a family friend, and Vivienne, who chose an outfit from her wardrobe, looked cute as flower girls.

Knox and Shiloh were joint ring bearers, with Knox in a suit and Shiloh in black shorts, a white shirt, tie, and top hat.

Speaking to the American Vanity Fair, Oscar- winning Ange later said: “They (the kids) did not expect us never to fight, but they always made us promise to say sorry if we do. So they said ‘do you?’ and we said: ‘We do!’

“It does feel different, it feels nice to be husband and wife.

She added: “There was no cake so Pax made a cake. The kids made little pillows for the rings and Knox practiced (being the ring bearer) with an acorn that kept falling off the pillow.”

The 41-year-old filed for divorce yesterday, citing irreconcilable differences and asking for sole physical custody of the children.
