Jennifer Lopez looks glum as she heads to dance studio after CANCELLING several shows with no explanation ahead of her This Is Me… Now tour

Jennifer Lopez has emerged after canceling several shows across seven cities for her highly-anticipated This Is Me…Now: The Tour concert.

Ahead of her first tour in five years, the 54-year-old superstar axed all scheduled dates between August 22 to August 30 in Nashville, New Orleans; Raleigh, Atlanta, Houston, Cleveland and Tampa.

According to Ticketmaster, the event organizer ‘had to cancel’ the performance and no actions are ‘required to obtain a refund’ to the original method of payment used at time of purchase.

No cause or explanation for the cancellation has been provided by the performer or her team.

The star looked glum as she dashed to an LA dance studio on Wednesday following the announcement.

She hid behind oversized sunglasses and was dressed in sweats and sneakers.

While it is unknown why Lopez scrapped the tour dates, the nixed performances are exactly a week after her husband Ben Affleck’s birthday.

A number of disappointed fans took to the ticket sales and distribution company’s website as they expressed sadness over the cancellations.

‘I had tickets for my friend and I to the Raleigh show in August and along with some other cities it was cancelled with no explanation or reason. I was so looking forward to this and this is utterly disappointing,’ one wrote. ‘Fans should get the courtesy of an explanation.’

Another wrote: ‘The show in ATL was canceled. Why was this show canceled with no explanation.’

The city tour kicks off on June 26 in Orlando, Florida at Kia Center. The city tour kicks off on June 26 in Orlando, Florida at Kia Center.

This marks her comeback to touring after a five-year hiatus, following the 2019 tour that grossed over $50 million.

It then makes stops across North America in Los Angeles, Montreal, Nashville, and more before wrapping up on August 17 in New York City.

This Is Me…Now The Tour will showcase Lopez’s older hits along with new tracks from her latest album, This Is Me…Now.

This Is Me…Now The Tour comes on the heels of Lopez’s album This Is Me…Now and Amazon Original, This Is Me…Now: A Love Story which were released globally on February 16, and her documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told.

It is in support of her new album, film and documentary that was inspired by her spouse.

Jennifer’s last big run of shows was her ‘It’s My Party Tour’ in 2019, when she played gigs in the US, Canada, Israel, Russia, Turkey, Spain, and Egypt.

She also told Entertainment Tonight this could be her last ever album.

The On The Floor hitmaker has admitted her new record feels like an ‘end of an era’ and the ‘beginning on a new one’.

‘We did a bunch of different album covers. We try to do stuff that’s very special for the fans and do collector’s items and things like that that they can have forever and ever.

‘The truth is I don’t even know if I’ll ever make another album after this.

‘It’s such the kind of quintessential kind of Jennifer Lopez J.Lo project and I really feel very fulfilled.

‘So they really will be collector’s items at a certain point.’

Asked about it being her last studio collection, she said: ‘Don’t tell Benny [Medina, manager and collaborator] that that’s what I’m thinking.

‘This might be my last album ever.’

She further explained: ‘I feel like it’s the end of a kind of an era for me and the beginning of a new one, so I would never say never, but right now I feel like I really put my heart and soul into this and I’m very excited and it definitely took a lot out of me.’

‘This Is Me… Now’ is a follow-up to 2002’s ‘This Is Me… Then’.
