The British Anti-Doping Association (UKAD) has opened an investigation into boxer Tyson Fury (holding the WBC heavyweight championship) being accused of bribing a farmer to make him lie about his employment. He was discovered to be using stimulants

Specifically, in February 2015, Tyson Fury and his boxer cousin Hughie were tested positive for the banned substance nandrolone. At that time, both of them confirmed that they mistakenly ate contaminated wild boar meat. At that time, a farmer named Martin Carefoot also stood up and claimed to have provided “problematic” wild boar meat to Tyson Fury’s team.
However, recently, farmer Martin Carefoot wrote a letter to Daily Mail to confirm that he was bribed 25,000 pounds to falsely declare the above information.
This information was published by major newspapers in the UK and UKAD had to investigate. If discovered to have truly bribed, Tyson Fury could be banned from competing for 8 years and stripped of many championship titles he has earned while competing.
In response to the above accusations, Tyson Fury’s manager Frank Warren said that this was “a pile of trash”. Frank Warren said: ” The farmer who made these allegations sent me a letter last October. When I called him he asked for money. I told him to go away and get in touch with UKAD. He decided not to talk to UKAD but instead to talk to a newspaper. All this is complete rubbish.”
Tyson Fury (31 years old) has fought a total of 31 matches with 30 wins. On February 22, Tyson Fury knocked out opponent Deontay Wilder (USA) in the 7th round to win the WBC heavyweight boxing championship held in Las Vegas.
