La investigación, publicada en PLOS Ope, informa del descubrimiento de un caso de desapitatiop hmap ritualizado de hace 9.000 años que parece ser, por cierto margen, el más antiguo de América.

Las cabezas amputadas habían sido colocadas sobre la cara de la escuela decapitada y dispuestas una frente a la otra.

Los investigadores encontraron los restos del mapa del joven decapitado en un refugio rocoso en Lapa do Sapto, en el centro-este de Brasil. Es bastante sorprendente que los restos decapitados datan de hace 9.100 y 9.400 años.
