Bieber stepped out in a colorful zip-up knit sweater with a backward black baseball cap for the dinner outing.

He was showing the early makings of a beard with a small hoop earrings in both ears as he stepped out.

Bieber completed his look with black sweats and light blue and white sneakers as he went in to dine solo.

The singer made headlines coming out of the Sundance Film Festival earlier this week, when it was revealed he signed off on the use of his song One Less Lonely Girl.

The indie film My Old A** debuted at the Sundance Film Festival on Saturday, which stars Aubrey Plaza.

Director Megan Park confirmed in a post-screening Q&A that the whole team was surprised when Bieber allowed the song to be used.

‘We weren’t sure Justin was going to let us. Once he gave us the go-ahead, we were thrilled. We leaned into it even more,’ Park admitted.

The story follows a teenager named Elliot (Maisy Stella) who takes mushrooms with her friends and meets an older version of herself, played by Plaza.

The older Elliot warns the younger not to fall in love with her crush Chad (Percy Hynes White), and later in the movie, she imagines performing One Less Lonely Girl to Chad.

‘Guys, Justin Bieber watched that. Justin Bieber watched that, which makes me so ill,’ Stella, 20, said during the Q&A.

Park added that she wanted that song to be a highlight of the movie because she wanted a moment that brought viewers back to a special time in their childhood.

‘I kept thinking about this idea: there was a time when you did something like play pretend with your friends, and then you just never did it again. That made me really emotional. I also wanted to immerse myself in a joyful film and something that made people feel nostalgic for an easier, simpler time in life. Because life can be hard and s****y sometimes. I wanted to have an escape,’ she said.

One Less Lonely Girl was released on Bieber’s debut album, 2009’s One World, and it has been a fan favorite ever since.

The song is typically found on his concert set lists and he typically picks one girl out of the crowd to personally serenade during the song.
