Transformers 8 & 9 Confirmed: Will Release After Rise Of The Beasts
Paramount confirmed plans for Transformers 8 and Transformers 9, both of which will take part in the same world as Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. The studio originally launched the Transformers movie franchise in 2007 with Michael Bay directing and Shia LaBeouf starring. After five entries in the main series, Paramount delivered a soft reboot with Bumblebee in 2018, which is followed in the Transformers timeline by the 1994-set Rise of the Beasts.
The future of the Transformers franchise is already set. Paramount announced the future of their movie and TV programming, with the studio announcing that Transformers 8 and Transformers 9 are happening after Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, framing them as a new trilogy. There are no additional details at this moment about the two upcoming sequels, such as if Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback will return to star. However, Steven Caple Jr. has said he plans to return as the director. Transformers 8 & 9 also do not have release dates at this time.
