This isn’t the first time someone tried to gain access to the Swift’s Tribeca home.

On Saturday Jan. 20, a man was arrested at Taylor Swift‘s Manhattan home.

The man, whose name was not released, allegedly attempted to open the door to Swift’s Franklin Street townhouse on Saturday afternoon, CBS News reported.

Police received a call about a “disorderly person” trying to get inside the building, and when they arrived, officers located and questioned the man. At that point, law enforcement discovered a warrant for his arrest from a 2017 summons.

Ultimately, the man was arrested because of the unrelated warrant. As of writing, he has not been charged on any counts related to Saturday’s incident.

This isn’t the first time someone has been arrested after attempting to gain access to Swift’s NYC home. In 2022, a Brooklyn man named Joshua Christian faced stalking and criminal trespassing charges for two incidents during which he allegedly threatened Swift at her Tribeca building, Rolling Stone reported.

And in 2018, a 22-year-old man named Roger Alvarado was arrested after police discovered him asleep in Swift’s Tribeca home. Alvarado pleaded guilty to criminal contempt and burglary; he was sentenced to six months in jail and five years of probation, in addition to mental health treatment, the Daily Mail reported.

Unfortunately, Alvarado broke in two more times and in 2019, he was sentenced to two-to-four years after accepting a plea deal for violating his probation.
