Trying to take a wave of baddies with guns, grenades and an assortment of other artillery, Salma is seen trying to escape her apartment with full force.

Moments later, she ends up sporting a blood-stained dress, which highlights her lean and slender frame in all its glory.

Everly tells the story of a former prostitute, who is trapped inside her home, while her gangster ex-partner tries to kill her.

Speaking at Comic-Con in San Diego last summer, she said: ‘I barely wear anything throughout the whole film.’

The role required the petite actress to undergo some rigorous training.

‘It might not seem like shooting those guns is physical, but it was,’ she explained. ‘They were heavy!’

‘We can do amazing things,’ she told the audience. ‘But please don’t go shooting anyone. It’s a metaphor.’

Written and directed by Knights of Badassdom’s Joe Lynch, the action packed drama also stars Hiroyuki Watanabe, Togo Igawa and Masashi Fujimoto.

Everly is scheduled for release on April 10 in the UK
