Max Verstappen visited Brazil right after the F1 2023 season ended to attend Kelly Piquet’s half-brother’s wedding.

The Formula 1 2023 season has come to an end after a quite smooth Championship battle instead of the usual tumultuous ones that are usually seen in the sport. Red Bull proved that with their marqueé driver Max Verstappen and their rocketship-like RB-19, they were pretty much invincible since the Dutchman snatched the Championship title for the third time and the team got their second Constructors’ World title in a row. But now, Max is busy enjoying the off-season with his girlfriend Kelly Piquet and her family in Brazil where they huddled for Kelly’s half-brother Pedro’s wedding.
Pedro Piquet got married to artist Bella Salvati in Brazil at the Capela Santa Clotilde. Both Kelly and Max were present for the ceremony, and their video was quickly posted on Instagram. It showed the bride tossing her wedding bouquet into the air and Kelly sidestepping as of she did not want to catch it. As the Christian customs go, whoever gets the bouquet would be the next in line to get married. Considering that Max and Kelly have been dating for 3 years now, fans would have expected them to ring the wedding bells soon.
But Max Verstappen was spotted in a celebratory mood once he saw Kelly did not catch the wedding bouquet. A video from the event caught Max’s reaction and was quickly posted on social media where it went viral. This raised some eyebrows in the F1 town as everyone failed to fathom why Max, as a boyfriend, would not want Kelly to pick a token that would foretell that their wedding might come soon.

Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet might not be planning a big wedding anytime soon, but love is definitely not lost between the two of them. The F1 power couple recently travelled to Switzerland alongwith Kelly’s daughter Penelope Kvyat.

They were in for some celebrations since Max Verstappen earned his third World Championship this year and they also planned to spend New Year’s Eve with some friends in Switzerland.

Kelly Piquet took some amazing pictures from their party in Gstaad where she was wearing a gorgeous black dress while Max went in white. The two seemed quite intoxicated as they danced on the streets and then shared a beautiful kiss. The pictures have seen been doing rounds on social media where all the fans have declared Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet absolute relationship goals.
