The upcoming comic book chronicles the rise to stardom of famous Korean K-pop group BTS and their recent military service.

TidalWave Comics publisher based in Portland, Oregon (USA) has added a 22-page comic book to the Fame series . The comic book sheds light on BTS ‘s musical activities .

BTS started their music career in 2013

Since their debut in 2013, BTS has become a global phenomenon with vibrant hits and social campaigns aimed at empowering youth.

BTS’s glamorous history is recorded in the comic with the 7 male singers’ rise to fame and their transition from pop star to soldier.

All healthy men in Korea between the ages of 18 and 28 must serve in the military for a period of 18 to 21 months to protect the Fatherland.

The comic book about the group BTS will be released on January 10, 2024

Some received exemptions or served shorter periods, including Olympic medalists and award-winning classical musicians. Some lawmakers have called for exemptions for BTS members.

In December 2022, Jin – the oldest member of BTS – joined the army and others followed. The four people who started their military service in December 2023 are RM, V, along with Jimin and Jung Kook . Previously, three other members of this K-pop group, Jin, j-hope and Suga, also joined the army. Fans pledged to wait until 2025 when the group performed again.
