General Hospital: Big Secrets Spill As New Year Rolls Out

General Hospital loves its secret-keeping sagas just as much as it loves its villains kidnapping unwitting characters for prolonged captivities. But with the quite evident lack of supervillains currently, no kidnappings are underway. At least, that we know of. Secret-keeping, however, is aplenty in Port Charles. The two most long-running ones are – Nina’s SEC spillage and Cody’s true paternity. While the latest spoilers have already revealed that Nina will soon be exposed. Where does Cody’s secret stand? Let’s find out!

Cody has known for a long time now that Mac Scorpio is his bio-dad on General Hospital. However, he unceremoniously decided to keep the secret to himself. Despite that, he can clearly see how much Mac cares for him already. Although, we have to admit that today’s Cody is not the same one who decided to keep his paternity under wraps. His motives, intentions, and heart have radically changed. Thanks to Sasha, of course. We guess it is true then when they say that people are their best versions when they are in love.

But is this new and improved version of Cody evolved enough to be honest with his father on General Hospital? Because he hasn’t so far! However, it is also true that he had his hands more than full trying to save Sasha from Gladys and Montague. But now that things are settled for the poster child of damsel in distress. Could Cody decide to resolve some of his own issues? Moreover, wouldn’t it be great if Sasha could come into play here somehow?

She does have some experience with paternity secrets and lies on General Hospital! Long-term viewers will remember that back in the day, she pretended to be Nina’s long-lost daughter. (Which is actually Willow, just in case you got confused.) However, she soon realized what a mistake it was to play someone like that. Under the weight of the guilt, she came clean. So, she does know a thing or two about it. Hence, there is a chance that she could encourage Cody to be honest about the truth with Mac.

GH/ Will Sasha help Cody realize his mistake?

And honestly, if it was up to us, this is the route we would want the story to take on General Hospital. Cody and Sasha helping each other to get over their past and living a better life would truly be a treat to watch! But would that be soapy enough for a Port Charles secret spillage? Perhaps not. So, it is more likely that someone else will “expose” Cody’s truth in a rather dramatic manner. Maybe Felecia would! She does have a habit of poking her nose in other people’s business!
