CRITICS have slammed the Kardashian family for showing off their extravagant and excessive holiday decorations.
Some people spoke out after Kim Kardashian, 43, recently shared a video of the snowy winter display outside her Calabasas, California mansion.

The Skims mogul panned the outside of her $60million house, which showed an abundance of lit-up, frosted Christmas trees.
Every tree, bush, and branch was covered in fake snow and white twinkly string lights.
Kim transformed her property into a complete winter wonderland, appearing as if it had just snowed on a farm full of dozens of trees.
She recently showed off the decorations inside her mansion as well, including her snowy tree-lined hallways and Skims-wrapped presents.
Kim’s siblings Kourtney, 44, and Khloe Kardashian, 39, have also been showing off their elaborate holiday decorations this year.
FLAUNTING THEIR WEALTH?
Taking to Reddit, one person called out the family for promoting their wealth on social media – especially around the holidays.
“Does the Kardashians excessive spending make you sick?” they asked.
The post maker added: “It makes me want to throw up seeing Kim brag and post about the sheer EXCESS of her Christmas decorations.
“She can most likely make a real dent in idk homelessness in LA soley based on her Christmas decor budget.
“Idk I think about being that rich and how I’d indulge in the lavish life, but most definitely not like that. As kourt said, there are people that are dying.”
Others quickly chimed in to agree, with one adding: “It’s not even necessarily the spending for me so much as the asinine amount of waste.”
“Yeh I can’t help but think of all the waste they create, it’s just too much I don’t know how they don’t get sick of it,” a second said.
“It’s the flaunting that bothers me,” a third wrote. “There are so many families who can’t afford to do their Christmas traditions this year and I wish the uber rich would flaunt their charity / donations half as much as they flaunt how beautiful and magical their own mansions are.”
A fourth said: “Is it excessive? Yes.”
“Wealth hoarding is sickening when you really stop to think about how much they have and how little so many others have,” another added.
NOT HOLDING BACK
The Hulu star shared a post to her Instagram feed on Friday, which first showed her driving up to her mansion as the driveway was lined with fully decorated trees.
She showed her bathroom, which was also lined with lit-up Christmas trees that were outside the massive floor-to-ceiling windows.
Kim lastly showed the large pile of presents, wrapped in white, under the tree.
Fans slammed Kim’s holiday decor in the comment section of the post, with one writing: “Chopping a forest down for self-gratification; go spend a weekend in Gaza.”
“What a miserable soulless home,” added another.
A third said: “She decorated for herself not the kids – that is dull as [poop emoji].”
Critics mocked more of the decor after a clip was shared on Reddit, showing how she opted to wrap her presents with Skims Cotton Jersey T-shirts to promote her shapewear brand.
“This really looks so sad. No color at all,” one person wrote.
“I’m hoping these are just the rooms they show the public for aesthetic and behind closed doors they have more personal decorations up,” a second remarked.
As for her elaborate Elf on the Shelf scene, the reality star received criticism as fans immediately showed concern for her housekeepers.
She shared a video this week that showed a bunch of crushed-up candy and a bathtub full of brown water, claiming the “elves” made a mess and put hot chocolate in the tub.
One user shared screenshots of Kim’s story and said: “The poor staff that have to clean this.”
The author replied: “I think that’s why I’m so annoyed, because she certainly isn’t cleaning this up!”
