GH casting updates confirm that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is being temporarily recast with actress Courtney Fulk. No official reason has been given for Eden’s absence, however, it comes about six weeks after the tragic death of her mother, Natasha.

Eden’s mom had been fighting cancer for the last two and a half years and sadly lost the battle. She shared the news of her mom’s passing with her followers on social media. And she recently paid tribute to her after winning her first Daytime Emmy for playing Josslyn on General Hospital.

So, it seems pretty safe to say that the reason for her temporary exit is to take time to mourn the loss of her beloved mom. Currently, Eden is already filming again, and nothing official has been released on the date of her return.

But it looks like she will be back sometime in February. In the meantime, Courtney is doing a great job as Joss. But we can’t wait for Eden McCoy to return, and our hearts go out to her.

GH Casting Changes: Wicked Esme Returns?

General Hospital casting updates see Esme Prince‘s (Avery Kristen Pohl) memory finally starting to return. While decorating her tree in her new apartment with baby Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), she had a memory of last Christmas.

That’s when she was pregnant with Ace, and Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) was keeping her locked up in the Wyndemere Tower. So, this could very well signal the return of evil Esme on General Hospital. If so, she will likely target Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) again.

Especially because she and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) are now in a loving, committed relationship. No doubt that will set the wicked Esme off. Furthermore, with Esme’s memories returning, it may come out that Spencer is actually Ace’s father and not his brother.

If so, that will seriously jeopardize his future with Trina, which is precisely what Esme wants. Also, even if Spencer is not Ace’s daddy, Esme may lie and say that he is to get her hooks back into Spencer.

General Hospital Casting Updates: Nikolas Resurfaces?

GH casting news also suspects Nikolas may return soon. Currently, his ex-wife, Ava Jerome (Maura West), is being tormented by someone. And there’s an excellent chance it’s Nik. Ava is certain it is Nik because she left him for dead after he threatened to kidnap her daughter.

And now she thinks he’s trying to set her up for the murder of Austin Holt (Roger Howarth). That way, he can make her pay for bashing him over the head. It’s one thrilling twist after another on GH. Keep watching to see when Eden McCoy returns as Joss and if Esme and Nik wreak havoc on the ABC soap opera.
