I’m A Celebrity‘s Sam Thompson and Tony Bellew’s unlikely friendship may be turned into a reality television show.

A source says ITV bosses are reportedly eyeing up the pair after their journey from awkward campers to ultimate bros ‘fascinated’ them.

Former professional boxer Tony, 40, was visibly uncomfortable around Made In Chelsea‘s Sam, 31, when he first arrived.

However, as the days have gone on, Tony, who portrayed antagonist boxer Ricky Conlan in the films Creed and Creed III, has clearly warmed to the younger man.

A source said: ‘The jungle always brews up unlikely friendships and bromances but we’ve not seen one like Sam and Tony’s before.

‘What started off as annoyance is clearly now morphing into something more brotherly and it makes for great telly,’ The Sun report.

If Sam and Tony do embark on a project together, it wouldn’t be the first time a friendship pair from the Jungle got their own show.

Jordan North and Beverley Callard landed Destination Wedding, a travel series, after becoming firm friends in 2020.

Jordan, 33, is a radio DJ and presenter while Beverley, 66, is best known for portraying Liz McDonald in Coronation Street.

Sam is now the bookies’ favourite to be crowned King Of The Jungle, with Paddy Power giving him odds of 6/5.

He previously expressed his desire to retire from reality television and said winning the ITV jungle show ‘would be a really nice way to go out’.

Tony was late to the jungle party, arriving on Day 5 with jockey Frankie Dettori who was the first celebrity to be voted out. 

YouTuber and influencer Nella Rose was the next to leave, and First Dates maître d’hôtel Fred Sirieix followed her on Tuesday. 

Actress Jamie Lynn Spears and food critic Grace Dent both walked two days apart on ‘medical grounds’. 

Jamie Lynn’s exit was controversial as she appeared fighting fit when she danced in the finale episode of the US’s Dancing With The Stars.
