“The only error I made was…” Former Celtics coach reveals the truth about LeBron James’ $1.5 million diet expenditure.

In light of a recent episode of Bill Simmons Podcast, former head coach of the Boston Celtics Doc Rivers in his appearance with the host Simmons had an interesting discussion about the Los Angeles Lakers legend LeBron James‘s high-level performance in the ongoing NBA regular season. Despite being the oldest player in the league, he has been maintaining his fitness and defying the odds at the age of 38.

Rivers in his statement shed light on James’s commitment to maintaining his fitness and being conscious about his diet and nutrition. He said:

As LeBron told me, other than wine, I put nothing bad in my body. He says he carries bags around of different foods and he said it’s down to timing. There’s certain times that he has to eat, there’s certain times that he can’t eat. It’s just incredible to watch. Doc Rivers on The Bill Simmons podcast

In his appearance, Rivers tells Simmons that LeBron James is articulate about his nutrition and doesn’t allow himself near anything that is alcoholic with an exception made for wine. James is said to always make sure to carry his meals for the day and has always said to adhere to maintaining discipline with his timings as to when to eat. This showcases his utmost determination for his health which is directly responsible for his long sustained success in the NBA.

LeBron James is known as the league’s all-time high scorer with a career-high 39,000 points under his belt. The LA Lakers is now placed at the sixth position in the Western Conference standings holding a record of 14 wins and 10 losses.

The Los Angeles Lakers in the recent finals of the In season tournament swayed their way to a 123-109 win against the Indiana Pacers, winning the first-ever finals in the league’s newest format. However, right after their big win against the Pacers, the Lakers had to take in a tough best from the Dallas Mavericks as the Mavs won with a score of 127-125.

The Lakers put up an impressive performance with their star duo LeBron James and Anthony Davis carrying the team. Lakers superstar LeBron James dropped 33 points including eight rebounds and nine assists. Similarly, Davis dropped one of his best performances scoring 37 points including 11 rebounds in a game time of 37 minutes.

However, the LA Lakers’s four-game winning streak came to an end with their immediate loss to the Dallas Mavericks where the Mavs superstar Luka Doncic and Tim Hardaway Jr. led the team to an impressive victory where Luka dropped 33 points including six rebounds and 17 assists and Hardaway Jr. scoring 32 points including three rebounds and three assists.
