LeBron James Admits to Wishing for a Regular Life at Times

Basketball superstar LeBron James said celebrity life is sometimes ‘challenging’ when his family can’t do very normal things.

“I don’t want to say it because it’s been mentioned too much, but there are times when I wish I could do normal things,” LeBron James confided in The New York Times recently. “I’m not sitting here to complain, of course not. But sometimes it is challenging,” the basketball superstar said about the consequences behind his fame.

“I wish I could go out for a walk. I wish I could go to the movie theater, sit down and buy popcorn. I wish I could go to the park and museum like normal people. I wish I could go to the park and the museum like normal people.” Sometimes you can go to Target, go to Starbucks and have your name tagged on a cup like everyone else,” the NBA legend said.

Nicknamed King James, LeBron James has been a famous face in American and world basketball for nearly two decades. At the age of 38, the superstar born in 1984 has just set the record for scoring the most points in history after surpassing the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s mark of 38,387 points. LeBron James has 145 million followers on Instagram and 52.7 million followers on Twitter. King James’s fortune is worth one billion dollars.

But James isn’t the only celebrity in the family. Savannah’s wife is a businessman and influencer on social networks with two million followers on Instagram. Their eldest son, Bronny, followed his father’s basketball career and is an outstanding talent. At the age of 18, the young man also has nearly 7 million followers on Instagram. Second son Bryce, 15 years old, has more than one million followers on his personal page, and is also an impressive face in the high school basketball scene. LeBron James and his wife also have a daughter, Zhuri, 8 years old. He and his wife both work hard for charity.
