Un niño que nació sin extremidades da la bienvenida a una nueva esperanza en Idlib
La familia Misaytif, que vive las dificultades de vivir en el refugio de un familiar en los campos de refugiados de Idlib, donde los civiles buscaron refugio de los ataques del régimen de Assad en Siria, espera desesperadamente ayuda para su hijo de 14 meses, Mυhammed, que fue nacido sin extremidades.
El bebé Mυhammed, que no puede jugar con sus compañeros porque nace con piernas y brazos cortos, pasa la mayor parte del día con su gato. Halit Misaytif, el padre del pequeño Mυhammed, dijo en una declaración que su hijo nació sin brazos ni piernas.
Misaytif expresó: “Mυhammed necesita atención y cuidado constantes. Necesita que lo retengan constantemente. Estamos viviendo aquí en el campamento. No podemos protegerlo del calor del verano ni del frío”.
“Después de sufrir una lesión en la pierna debido a los ataques del régimen de Assad, no puedo encontrar trabajo. Lucho por encontrar la leche de mi hijo. Los precios de los medicamentos son mucho más altos que antes. Espero que Mυhammed capite su vida como la de otros niños”, añadió.
Misaytif enfatizó que Mahoma no puede hacer frente a sus necesidades diarias sin apoyo debido a su falta de manos y pies. Dijo: “Luchamos para obtener su leche, medicamentos y pañales. Con suerte, en el futuro podrá salir del país, conseguir prótesis y llevar una vida feliz como otros niños. Mi único deseo es brindarle a Mυhammed una vida feliz”.
