Before the live action series on Netflix officially launched on August 31, the actors playing the members of the Straw Hat crew tried cosplaying the cover of One Piece manga episode 11, titled “The Meanest Man in the East ” (Vietnamese title: Great Evil Thief of the East), was first released in 1999 in Weekly Shonen Jump issue 24.

This is a manga volume revolving around the adventures of the Straw Hats in Loguetown, “The City of Beginnings and Ends”. This is the hometown of Pirate King Gol D. Roger and is also where he was executed 24 years ago. This is also the last island that the Straw Hats visit before entering the Grand Line.
The group faced challenges, encountered old enemies like Buggy, and Zoro had a duel with Tashigi.
Since the live action follows the events that took place in the East Blue Saga, it is possible that all of episode 11 or part of it will be included in the film.
The live action One Piece series will air exclusively on Netflix on August 31.
