The Rock took to Instagram to share a picture and video of his impressive costume.

Fans took to the comments to react, with one person writing: “David Beckham If he chose the gym instead of Manchester United.”

Beckham also shared an image of Johnson’s costume on Instagram and commented: “And the winner is @therock 🎃 looking good man I know what I’m going as next year 💪🏼 😃.”

The England legend joined Man Utd in 1991 and won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the Champions League during his 12-year stint.

He left for Real Madrid in 2003 and went on to win two more trophies – including the La Liga title.
