“I think all of our hearts are broken. I always feel very lonely in my life. Growing up alone as a child, alone even when I entered the world and it wasn’t really until recently that I was surrounded by friends and family more… Believe it or not, when you have Being able to move forward with the paradox, when you experience true pain and joy at the same time, that is maturity,” he confided.
According to the actor born in 1963, he found community and friendship through his decision to quit drinking in 2016. When he first divorced, he spent 18 months participating in regular meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous (an organization international help for people with alcohol problems). At these meetings, people adhere to the core principle of abstaining from all mind-altering substances. “I think all of our hearts are broken. I always feel very lonely in my life. “I had a really great group of guys. It’s really private and selective there. So it’s very safe. I’ve seen what happens inside other people recorded while they drink. That was terrible for me,” he said.
Not only did he quit drinking alcohol, the Oscar-winning star also decided to give up smoking even though he had been smoking for most of his life. He revealed that he stopped smoking during the COVID-19 pandemic because he was at the age when he realized that cigarettes did not bring any benefits. His method is to replace it with flavored nicotine gum.
This is considered a big step forward in Brad Pitt’s awareness. In 2019, he told the New York Times: “I spent most of the 90s hiding out and smoking.”

In an interview with GQ, the father of six admitted to being regularly tortured by the same dream over and over again: “For about four or five years, the most common dream I had was that I would be electrocuted. yourself and was stabbed. I woke up in horror. I don’t understand why that/they want to hurt me. That dream only stopped a year or two ago.”
Currently, Brad Pitt feels “joy” is a newer discovery for later life. “I think I went through many years of low-grade depression. Until I face that, I try to embrace every aspect of myself – the beauty and the ugliness. I was able to capture those happy moments,” he shared.
Brad Pitt will soon return to the big screen with the movie “Bullet Train”, scheduled to hit theaters on August 5. In addition, the “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” star is still involved in an endless “war of words” with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie. The two had a dispute over both property and child custody even though they filed for divorce in 2016 and were officially single since April 2019.
