Max Verstappen has been having the time of his life under the current set of F1 regulations. Verstappen has won the world championship thrice and with the ongoing campaign in a short break ahead of the Australian GP, he has come into the limelight for his sim-racing antics.

Max Verstappen is well-known for jumping on his sim-racing setup whenever he has some ideal time. On most occasions, his sim-racing time is overshadowed by Kelly Piquet‘s daughter, Penelope, making sudden appearances.

However, for a change, the 26-year-old’s sim-racing antics have managed to amass the spotlight this time around. During a recent race in an LMP2, Verstappen was spotted making his way through a huge crash. His teammates were as shocked as the Dutchman himself.

The video has been making the rounds on the web and his fans, from all over the world, have been reacting to it. Moreover, all of Verstappen’s teammates were seen laughing at the antics of the 26-year-old.

While Max Verstappen has amassed immense attention for his most recent antics on sim racing, he has got off to the perfect start this year. He has won the first two races of the 2024 F1 season by a handsome margin.

Seeing his might, Red Bull’s sim-racing driver, Jake Dennis, has given a fascinating take!

It’s not that the car is very nervous in the high-speed corners or has a lot of understeer in the slow corners, the car is very neutral. That gives Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez the chance to go through all the different corners with a lot of confidence.

Jake Dennis said in an interview with racingnews365

Verstappen was able to amass a sensational 19 Grand Prix wins during the 2023 F1 season. Moreover, the way the ongoing campaign has panned out so far, he has every chance of going past this number. The upcoming Australian GP could prove to be another Verstappen masterclass.
