Look at real estate from private islands to the $54 million villa of legendary Tiger Woods

Legendary golfer Tiger Woods owns many expensive real estate properties, including a private island in Sweden and a $54 million villa in the US, according to Business Insider.According to Forbes, legendary golfer Tiger Woods owns a net worth of $800 million as of 2018. He often travels around the world on a $20 million super yacht and private jet. Woods is also a private real estate investor with not much information available about his investments. However, Business Insider has revealed a number of expensive real estate directly related to this legendary golfer.

“Huge” villa on Jupiter Island

w1According to Business Insider, Tiger Woods owns a huge villa on Jupiter Island, located on the coast of Martin County, Florida (USA) and about 50 minutes by car from West Palm Beach.

w2 5Jupiter Island has a population of only 907 people and most of them are extremely wealthy. The average house price here is 5 million USD/unit.

w3 7The legendary golfer is said to have bought a 48,562 square meter plot of land on Jupiter Island in 2006 for $40 million. After that, he built a villa worth 54 million USD on this land and moved here in 2010.

w4 11The villa has a 14,000 square meter golf course, tennis court, gym and swimming pool.

Orlando Villa

w1-2Tiger Woods used to own a house in Windermere, Florida but sold it in 2013 for $2.2 million to Bubba Watson. This is where Woods’ infamous 2009 car accident occurred.

w3-2 9The house has a cinema, 7 bedrooms, a bar, a guest house. In 2013, Watson listed the house for sale for $5.6 million. It was then sold for $4.2 million in 2016.

Private island in Sweden

w1-3 3Although on paper, Tiger Woods is not the owner of this island but a Swedish businessman, everything on the island has been designed specifically for this legendary tennis player.

w2-3 7Woods is said to be planning to move to the island to live with his wife, Elin Nordegren. However, the couple divorced in 2010 before moving here.

w3-3 9According to LA Times, the private island is located in Lake MΓ€laren, 1 hour from the capital Stockholm.

w4-3 11In 2015, the 250,905-acre island was listed for $7.1 million. It’s unclear how much it sold for.

w1-4 3However, Woods didn’t just buy real estate for himself. In 2007, Woods reportedly bought his mother two plots of land in Jupiter, Florida for about $2.4 million. In 2010, another house in Windermere, Florida was purchased and Tiger Woods’ father named it. The house is valued at $1.31 million.
