Bieber is breaking the internet as she expands into something that’s never been done before – an iPhone case complete with a special holder tailored perfectly to fit your lip gloss.

Earlier this month, Hailey Bieber posed for a series of photos, but some eagle-eyed fans spotted something totally unique in the pics: a Rhode phone case tailored to fit a lip gloss

The cases, which are made for the iPhone 14 and 15 models, seamlessly fit the brand’s Peptide Lip Treatments with a handy pocket

The case comes in a light gray color and comes complete with a small pocket for the Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment to easily slip into.

In early February, the model first debuted the phone cover in a photo she posted to her Instagram account, as she posed for a mirror selfie where the innovative case was visible.

She wore a matching white pajama short set, complete with lace accents and a pink flower and bow as she held up her phone in the mirror.

In another picture from the same carousel, the Who’s In My Bathroom? YouTube host posed with the phone case again, this time in a glammed-up look as she sported a fur coat, small sunglasses and large gold hoop earrings.

Peeking out of the phone case was her Peptide Lip Treatment in the color Espresso, which gives the lips a rich, chocolate brown tint.

The photos immediately sent fans into a frenzy, as it hadn’t been announced by the brand yet – and nothing about the phone case was mentioned in Bieber’s caption.

‘The phone case?! Genius,’ one commenter wrote.

Another agreed, ‘the phone case is EVERYTHING. MOTHER.’

‘The phone case is not a want, it’s a NEED,’ someone else typed.

Thankfully, though, just a few weeks later, Rhode Skin announced that the groundbreaking phone case would finally be available for purchase on February 27 at 9am PT.

The brand made the announcement on its official Instagram page, showing off what it would look like with all of the different tinted shades in its pocket.

‘1-800-rhode. Meet the lip case. Compatible with iPhone + your favorite peptide lip tint or treatment,’ the brand wrote in the caption.

Along with the announcement, it also released a waitlist for people to be the first to get access to the highly anticipated phone case – although it’s unclear exactly just how many Rhode fans are on it.

However, a new launch doesn’t come without a bit of controversy.

In the comments section on Rhode’s Instagram announcement, some users lamented about the fact that its only selling for the iPhone 14 and 15 models.

Others complained that the Android was left out.

While many fans were excited for the phone case launch, others lamented that it wasn’t made to fit their iPhone model

‘My iPhone 13 & I are crying,’ one user typed.

Another agreed, ‘Do yall know not all of us use iPhone?? What’s the point of selling them if you are gonna exclude a BIG part of costumers.’

‘The disrespect to the iPhone 13 Pro Max girlies,’ an Instagram viewer lamented.

Someone else wrote, ‘I NEED This!!! I just wish you had an iPhone 12 Pro like I do because you guys don’t sell it.’

Fortunately, though, Rhode responded to some of the comments on the page explaining that it had an option for customers to share which size phone they owned for future restocks.

Since the announcement, it seems like Bieber has been taking the phone case with her everywhere.

Last week, Bieber took two more snaps of herself holding the case – one where she’s dressed in an all-red ensemble, and another glam mirror selfie.

She also took it all the way with her to Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII, which was shown in a cheeky teaser video posted on the skincare brand’s Instagram.

The Ralph Lauren model could be seen applying a mid-game touch up of her lip gloss, and then sliding it back seamlessly into the case.
