Taylor Swift’s longtime friend Selena Gomez shared her own kissing photo on Super Bowl night, around the same time Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, went viral for their passionate field kiss. Gomez posted a pic on her Instagram Story of herself with her boyfriend, Benny Blanco, having a very affectionate moment in a red cushioned room.
The new PDA photo comes as Valentine’s Day week starts and marks another generous look from Gomez of her life with Blanco. This is the most public Gomez has been with a romantic relationship in years.
Gomez went public with her and Blanco’s romance in December. The couple had been dating for six months at that point, she shared.
A source spoke to Entertainment Tonight about how Blanco and Gomez see each other in a report published on January 11.
“Benny finds Selena to be brilliant beyond belief,” the source said. “He thinks she is extremely talented, genuine, sweet and intelligent. He respects everything that she stands for and admires her ability to speak her personal truths and share what she’s gone through with the world.”
On Gomez’s end, “Selena appreciates Benny’s intellect, overall passion in life, his art, dedication, and values,” the insider said. “He’s very respectful and meshes well with everyone in her inner circle.”
The source also addressed how Gomez’s loved ones feel about the relationship. “Selena feels very at home and at ease with Benny,” the source explained. “Their friends, family, and loved ones on both sides are all supportive and happy to see what they think could be an amazing and long-lasting relationship between the two of them.”
