He’s in Miami filming the upcoming Iron Man movie – and has been enjoying the wonderful weather from the comfort of his hotel.

But Robert Downey Jr and his family were spotted emerging from their accommodation on Thursday to see the sights of the Florida city.

The 47-year-old, who plays the lead superhero in the franchise, was seen with his spouse Susan, a film producer.

The actor – who also has a son Indio, 18, from his first marriage to Deborah Falconer – also took son Exton along for the ride.

Downey’s clan appeared to be in very good mood as they carried their adorable six-month-old tot to the car.

The little one seemed well-prepared for the hot weather in a cure orange striped onesie and green shoes.

Meanwhile his parents, dressed in earthy hues. Susan wore a beige and yellow T-shirt with brown shorts and sandals, while Robert dressed in a khaki green top and jaunty hat.

The gentleman hung onto a stylish tote bag, presumably filled with his wife’s belongings as well as the necessities for their baby.

It is unclear whether they were headed out for some sightseeing on his day off or if they were in fact joining him at work for the day.

Filming resumed on Monday in Florida where prop makers built a phony beach-side restaurant called Neptune’s Net, named after a well-known fish fry bar in Malibu popular with bikers where the Iron Man films are set.

While the plot of the third film is still unknown, IMDB reports, ‘Rumor has it Tony Stark/Iron Man will head to China to face his toughest opponent, Mandarin.’

Filming began in Wilmington, North Carolina and the group is still scheduled to shoot scenes in Broward County and Miami Beach while in South Florida.
