Cristiano Ronaldo’s museum has its latest exhibit as diamond-encrusted boots commemorating his Premier League stay are put on display…

When you are Cristiano Ronaldo and you need to freshen up exhibits in your museum, sometimes another replica of the Champions League trophy just won’t cut it.

So to jazz things up at the Museu CR7 the fomer Real Madrid star has called on the help of diamond artist Tokunbo Daniel to add a touch of sparkle to the place.

The designer has made three boots which now take pride of place beside the rest of the Portuguese star’s memorabilia, bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘twinkle toes’.

The Real Madrid striker has three boots on display, all designed by Tokunbo Daniel

The latest is using one of his 2017 boots with a mosaic pattern encrusted around the rim of the sock and a golden heel.

One side of the boot even has a silhouette of the 38-year-old, while the Nike tick gets the full jewel treatment on the other side of the shoe.

The second boot is a homage to the striker’s time in England although there is a glaring omission from a trip down memory lane.

While the old Premier League motif sits proudly on one side and good old Barclays get their sponsorship down the other, there is a curious lack of any nod towards his team Manchester United.

The boots are on display at Museu CR7 in Medeira along with his four Ballon D’Or trophies

Ronaldo showed off each of his fiver Ballon D’Ors to the Bernabeu crowd back in January

Red tips of the studs and red intials along with his No 7 on the heel hint at the Old Trafford colours, but that won’t give away any clues to the casual observer.

It is a far cry from his third boot, the ‘La Liga’ model which has been specifically designed in Real Madrid colours, as well as the name of the league down the front panel.

Tokunbo Daniel has several famous clients who swear by his work which predominantly makes use of Swarovski crystals, although he can create patterns with diamonds and emeralds too.

Arsenal Fomer winger Theo Walcott and fomer Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge have both donned caps created by the artist, which invariably sell for between £200 and £250 on his official site.

Designer Daniel has put the boots all over his Instagram, proud of his latest efforts in the line of diamond fashion.

It is a wonder the striker himself hasn’t found the time to post one too, given it was revealed recently the star earns £310,000 for every picture he puts up on the social media site.

Ronaldo is enjoying happiness with his family at Saudi Pro League Al Nassr, he has scored 50 goals in 2023 despite his current age of 38 years old.
