Last week, WikiLeaks published hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee that revealed the Dangerous Woman hitmaker was vetoed from performing at a presidential gala.

Grande passed criminal and financial record checks, but the singer was deemed too controversial after a background report detailing the doughnut incident and when she blasted a fan on Twitter over a homophobic remark about her gay brother, Frankie.

At the time, Republican congressman Jeff Duncan from South Carolina called out America’s “double standards” for not criticising Grande in the same way presidential candidate Donald Trump had copped it over his stance on Mexican migrants.

On reading a review that detailed Grande’s bad behaviour, White House employee Bobby Schmuck sent a simple email reply: “Nope, sorry.”
