Extroverted, cheerful and witty. Those are some outstanding characteristics of Mateo, the second son of the Messi family. The 8-year-old boy is passionate about soccer and is practicing at Inter Miami’s training facility.
It is worth noting that in the past few days, the name Mateo has been trending on X (formerly Twitter) because of the inspirational video between the boy and Messi.
That is a short clip from the final part of the documentary series “Messi comes to America” playing on Apple TV. In this video that is widely circulating online, fans are excited about the “life lesson” that Messi teaches Mateo.
That’s when the Messi – Roccuzzo couple took Mateo to the Florida Blue training center to prepare for the training session. Roccuzzo asked the second son in the house: “What are you going to do, Mateo, are you going to practice?” Mateo replied with an annoyed look: “Yes, if it is mandatory.”
Messi immediately spoke up to correct his son: “You don’t just come here to play football. You have to practice to know how to play football.”
A gentle reminder from Messi was highly praised by the online community. Fans admire the way the Argentinian star educates his children.
